An online survey on environmental management and mobility was recently launched as part of the “Green Coach” project, aimed at improving the environmental management of grassroots football organizations, and supported by the Sustainability Management Laboratory of the Institute of Management of Sant'Anna School. Through this survey, which remains active until February 28th, supporters, but also staff, players, and other people involved in the football world, are asked to express their opinion on how to make football more sustainable.

The online questionnaire aims at identifying improvements in the environmental management of sport events, focusing on activities related to supporters’ mobility. It was designed by the Sustainability Management Laboratory (SuM Lab) of the Institute of Management of Sant'Anna, partner of the “Green Coach” project. The project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, focuses on how to mitigate the environmental impact of amateur football organizations.

The online questionnaire remains active until February 28 and aims to assess the degree of adoption of environmental sustainability practices by fans and the reasons and benefits associated with environmental initiatives in sports activities. Today environmental protection is a central theme and, as stated by the researchers of Sant'Anna School involved in the “Green Coach” project, “the questionnaire is an excellent opportunity to identify new simple practices to improve environmental behaviours among fans and the football world in general”.
